Terms of Service
These terms apply to SocialBrick Analytics (our Discord bot) and the SocialBrick client dashboard. By adding the bot to a server or using the dashboard, you agree to them. Your engagement with SocialBrick may also be covered by a separate client agreement; if the two conflict, that agreement wins.
What the service does
SocialBrick Analytics counts activity in Discord servers we manage for our clients and shows the results in the dashboard. It reads no message content and doesn’t post, moderate or message anyone. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what it collects.
Who can add the bot
Only add the bot to a server you own or are authorised to manage, as part of an engagement with SocialBrick. You’re responsible for letting your members know that the server uses analytics, for example in your server rules or welcome channel, and for linking to our Privacy Policy.
Dashboard accounts
- Access is by invitation only. Keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- Only use the dashboard to view your own communities’ data. Don’t try to access other clients’ data, disrupt the service, or scrape it.
- We may pause access if an account is misused or if payment for the service is overdue. Your data is kept while access is paused.
Discord’s rules still apply
Using our bot doesn’t change your obligations under Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. We follow Discord’s Developer Terms of Service and Developer Policy.
Data
You keep whatever rights you have in your community’s data. You give us permission to process it to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. When the engagement ends we remove the bot and delete the server’s data within 30 days, unless you ask us to keep it.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service reliable but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. Statistics depend on Discord’s data and can be delayed or incomplete. We may change or improve features, and we’ll tell clients about significant changes in advance.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, SocialBrick isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using the bot or dashboard. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Ending use
You can remove the bot from your server at any time. We may stop providing the service if these terms are broken or the engagement ends.
Changes to these terms
We’ll update the date at the top when these terms change, and give clients notice of significant changes.
